June-July 2006
Greetings To Our Family, Friends, and Partners,
During this time of reflection, we have found it necessary and desirous to increase our time in prayer and intimacy with the Father, renewing our commitment, strengthening our stakes, and standing firm in our salvation. We hope that you are finding this same desire in your own life.
The call upon our family members and ministry is being defined and becoming clearer as never before. We have witnessed firsthand the attack against family, marriage, children and fathers across the city and nationwide. Healthy families are of major importance for survival and victory of a nation and its people. So it is with this in mind, that we encourage you to attend Promise Keepers, July 21 and 22 at the Arena. Volunteers are needed. We encourage you to take part through prayer, serving and registering; and see men unleashed to their potential.
Knowing one’s true identity is a major factor in life. True identity does not come from the father or mother one has, the car one drives, the position one holds, the house one lives in, or the wealth one has attained. Ultimately, identity is found in the One who created us, the Father, Abba Father. God created the family and not the way it looks today. The creator of anything knows how it works best, what it can and cannot do and to what limit it can endure. When we know the creator of family, our Father, recognize who we are, understand our covenant, and the part we play, our direction and purpose is clear and destiny fulfilled. It is within family, we first learn about relationship and how to relate to God. The parents are to be the representative of Him to the children! If we are seeking first the kingdom of God for our own life, respecting each one as creations of God, honoring others higher than our own self, guarding our heart & mind, believing the best and most of everyone, this creates a healthy family. There will certainly be various trials along the way, however if we know Him intimately, desire Him above all things, dwelling in that love, cautious how we treat His own, we will hit the mark of the high calling in Jesus. (Romans 5: 3-5, James 1: 2-4) The condition of the heart is revealed during these times and we should not resort to the blame game and take the pressure off us by putting it on someone else. This is our opportunity to take ownership for our actions, put our flesh to death, repent and let His life be formed in us. These times can either produce patience and the character of God in us or NOT. We are accountable to God for our own actions not the action of others. Don’t let fear keep you from enjoying the good life He bought for you and for your family. In 1 John 4: 2-4 we read that in relationships, love is perfected. (Ephesians 3:14-19)
If we want to witness the power of God, we must first know who we are, to whom we belong, as Daddy’s son or daughter, know we need Him like any child needs his Father, come as little children, knowing that He is not a distant and angry Father, but a Father who loved us so much His love came through Jesus the son to reconcile us back to Himself. So crawl up into your Daddy’s lap again and hear what’s on His mind; it’s you and others like you. For you Jesus died and rose again, that you might have life and in abundance. This is the safest place to be. Don’t let your destiny be aborted by the things of this world. Focus once again on the lover of your soul and why He came. Finding our true identity in Father’s love will cause us to live as true sons and daughters once again. Love is what found us, sustains us, and compels us. Love will bring freedom, revealing purpose and destiny. Shed the orphan mentality and live as a son and daughter again, dancing in the field of grace, white unto harvest. He is calling us to go tell our other brothers and sisters it’s time to come home and dine! The earth is in travail, until these true sons and daughters are revealed. (Romans 8:15-17) Orphans make up a structure and live in a house. Sons make up a body that live in a home. Which one are you?
Father’s Love Letter, in the different versions, has increased in downloads as well as an increase of visits to the web site. Invitations are coming to us from other nations to minister Father’s love and for resources for the outreaches there. As support increases, we look forward to taking teams there and to send resources. Father’s Love Letter resources and worship CDs continue to be available from this ministry, by contacting us directly. They remain a major tool for all outreaches and the offerings we receive at the suggested retail prices help to support the ministry. The Outreach Manual that we produced in the fall of last year is available and pictured below with Bill ministering Father’s love. (Credit card orders or offerings can be taken only online, through a Pay Pal account.)
Our adopted family member, friend, and office staff, Angela Moore (pictured) passed away this June. She was one of our spiritual offspring and was dedicated to us, our family and to this ministry. Many of you received calls from her on behalf of the ministry to update our records and for prayer concerning you and your family; these were just some of the tasks she would do. At the memorial service, it was mentioned several times about her joy to witness, faithfully sharing Father’s love everywhere she went. She handed out hundreds of Father’s Love Letters and led many to Christ. Her labor of love will continue on through the many lives she touched, even through the FLL funeral version that was given out to all who attended. It was beautiful, printed onto pink parchment with her birth date and place of birth, etc., inside. Even the FLL video was played. Though Angela was only 43 years of age, she led more people to Christ than many. Bill was honored to be one of the officiating ministers and it was the wish of the family to announce in lieu of flowers, for offerings to be made to Hot Pursuit Ministries International. Father granted us the honor to be one of those honored to groom her, for her bridegroom Jesus and assist her in finding her journey home to God the Father. For many years, we imparted the need to stay little so that Daddy God could be ‘Big’ in her life; resting in Father’s Love! We will miss her presence here immensely. She was loved, she was wanted, and she was affirmed! Please continue to contact us with whatever prayer needs or praise reports you have; we love to hear testimonies and the awesome move of God in your life.
Our mission continues to be the same, to stay little, that He might be Big and Bigger in our lives, to see the kingdom of heaven increased with souls and the kingdom of darkness plundered, and to tell others of His great love, grace and mercy, leaving the ninety-nine to find the one who is lost. Your prayers and financial support are vital to this ministry. God is weaving a net for a very big catch, as we relate one to another: kingdom networking! The sphere of influence we each have can accomplish much. Upcoming outreaches, needs, and events for which you can participate by your telling others, with your presence there, with your prayers, and with your finances:
Ministry of Father’s Love (Tell others of our availability to minister this message of love!)
Father’s Love Letters distributed on postcards, CD cardboard mailers, etc, for mass mail out into the city and to inmates throughout the state of Florida. (Costs of Father's Love Letter CDs and DVDs, printing, postage, labeling, paper, envelopes, addressing, etc.)
There are unlimited outreaches that are open to us and we hope you will want to be a part. If this ministry has been a blessing to you, if you believe in the simple message of God’s love to be known, let us hear from you with your support in seeing these needs met. (1Cor.9) Greater things can be accomplished when we work together, as we blanket the earth with Father’s love, everywhere and in every way.
Keep us in your prayers as we keep you in ours. Grace and peace to you and to those you love.
Abiding In His Love and For His Purpose,
Bill and Deborah Fisher
