MLK Jr. Day Love Letters

imageThe Father’s Love Letter Version for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, is Available for Free Download!

Martin Luther King, Jr. Day is  one of three United States federal holidays to commemorate an individual person. The Martin Luther King Day bill was signed by President Ronald Reagan on November 2, 1983, creating a federal holiday to honor him. ‎

One of his most memorable quotes: "Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that." – Martin Luther King, Jr.

A parade and breakfast is held every year in downtown Jacksonville, honoring Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Several of the many organizations, who are entrants in the parade, often download the Father’s Love Letter to reproduce, to hand out along the parade route.  You can also download for free and give to those you meet throughout the day. Download today to give out at the many events that take place during this time of honoring this great man of God and honor God.

The original Father’s Love Letter and all other versions on this site are two-sided cards and quarter-folded into greeting cards.  There are two downloads:  The outside of the card is listed under various categories, for easy selection.  The inside of the card is the text of Father’s Love Letter; choose either the original black and white or color version, both located on the resource page.   This version is located under the Holidays Category on the resource page or by clicking on the image, above.  There is also one for clowns, who you may see along the parade route; this version is located under the Vocations Category.

Suggested Uses:  Give out to anyone serving you when shopping, working out, eating out, going to the doctor, or wherever you shop and do various errands.  You may want to put one into the postage paid envelopes that come to you in the mail, inside promotions.

Easy Instructions: Print the selected outside version, preferably on a good quality, 24 lb. paper. Then place it back into the printer, in the correct direction, to print the inside, creating a two-sided document and then fold in half and in half again to form a greeting card for your encounters along a parade route for this holiday or elsewhere, with family, neighbors and friends.
